A night scene of the J.C. Nichols Fountain captures the glowing streams of a fountain with statue embellishments, set against the backdrop of a lit building and dark skies. The contrast between the bright water jets and the surrounding darkness creates a tranquil urban atmosphere. This fountain is the best known and photographed of Kansas City's fountains. It is located in the popular Country Club Plaza district. The fountain has four heroic horsemen said to represent four of the world's mighty rivers. The fountain was renamed in 2020 to the Fountain in Mill Creek Park.
